Father’s Day Quotations and Humor

It is no secret, I will always be daddy’s little girl. In many ways he was my primary caregiver while I was growing up and he still has a special place in my life and heart. Each year I search for a special way to show my love and appreciation on Father’s Day. My father, being very casual, does not have many occasions to wear a tie and so each year I have to be creative.I bring you this collection for all you who may be crafting a plaque or card for that special dad this year.

“It is a wise father that knows his own child.”

What Makes A Dad?
God took the strength of a mountain,
The majesty of a tree,
The warmth of a summer sun,
The calm of a quiet sea,
The generous soul of nature,
The comforting arm of night,
The wisdom of the ages,
The power of the eagle’s flight,
The joy of a morning in spring,
The faith of a mustard seed,
The patience of eternity,
The depth of a family need.
Then God combined these qualities.
When there was nothing more to add,
He knew His masterpiece was complete,
And so, He called it … “DAD!”
